RGA is a technological partner in the programming of the latest generation of robotic systems. We support the customer in the choice of the robotic unit, in the engineering of the processes and in the planning of the production cycles. We work with anthropomorphic, collaborative robots, Delta and Scara.
The robot has evolved and has become anthropomorphic, increasing accuracy, speed and load capacity. The robots performs in industrial accurate processing such as welding, drilling, milling, painting and laser cutting and are equipped with accurate vision systems. Industrial robots are also used in the palletizing and storage industry, especially in hazardous areas for the operator safety.
Collaborative robots are a new generation of industrial robots designed to work together with the man, in safety, without barriers. Collaborative robots are specialized in carrying out specific tasks that are developped on site . These robots are at the service of industry and are revolutionizing the logistics and factory automation sectors.
An example of an automated system is a Yumi ABB robot that makes an ice cream cone and serves it (watch the video below).
How important is it to use robotic simulation software today? In our opinion, one of the main steps to solve multiple problems of a robotic project is to recreate an artificial environment in which the robot can simulate all the operations for which it has been programmed, collaborating with all the automated machines foreseen in the project.

The industrial vision is a fundamental component of automation and will continue to be so for the creation of intelligent industry 4.0. No technology in use along the production line detects more information or is more efficient than the industrial vision to evaluate products and find defects, as well as to collect data in order to fine-tune operations and optimize the productivity of robots and others equipment. Unlike simple sensors, vision sensors generate a large number of image data, proving their usefulness in the Industry 4.0 environment.
Delta robot is one of the fastest robots in the world and it is used in all sectors in which a high displacement speed is required, especially in companies for packaging and assembly lines. The robot has got three articulated arms and three motors that move a clamp in space, always in parallel with the base.
